Isaiah prophesied:
The Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all Kings thy glory; and thou shall be called by a NEW NAME, which THE MOUTH OF THE LORD SHALL NAME -- Isaiah 62:2
Jesus prayed:
THAT THEY ALL MAY BE ONE; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they all may be one in us; that the world may believe that thou hast sent me -- John 17:21
The Full Salvation Union was organized of necessity to perpetuate spirituality and was incorporated in 1934 to carry on, without profit, educational, charitable and religious work. The intent of the work was to be interdenominational in effort and nonsectarian in spirit. The Full Salvation Union was organized to fulfill Christ’s prayer in John 17:21 “that they all may be one as thou Father art in me and I in Thee that they all may be one in us that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.” The name Full Salvation Union was Holy Spirit inspired through E. A. Andrews. The name means that when the truly born again Body of Christ gets a baptism of divine love and gets fully saved from everything that causes division, then union results. It also bears the sign of the cross. The main beam pointing up represents a Full understanding of God. One end of the cross beam points to Salvation through Jesus while the other end points to Union by the operation of the Holy Spirit. In organizing the Full Salvation Union, the first General Pastors E.A. Andrews and then James F. Andrews believed that God wants to direct His own work and that Jesus came to earth to preach and demonstrate the Kingdom of God. Jesus did not come to earth to build churches of bricks and wood. In the Full Salvation Union we have endeavored to live the principles of that Kingdom for more than 75 years.
